AM© founding members have learnt through working experience that there’s a lot of friction designed in creative industry because of the believe that it creates interruptions which in turn giving birth to revolutionary ideas. Brands spend billions creating friction. The old model was reach and frequency. The new model, is reach and empathy.

AM© was founded with the believe that brands are defined by their behaviour, not their messaging. Brands that fight friction, empower. Not just interrupt. As a Sarawakian-Borneo digital media and branding design company, our primary focus is build curated brand design, media platforms and contents, driven by frictionless solution and empowerment.

    Happily living the life of a successful expatriate white-collar executive in a developed nation of Australia, when the clarion call of the homeland came knocking in 2017.

    An engineer by training and profession, he practically started his mission for the nation by being an entrepreneur from scratch, from learning the ecosystem to knowing the people to accumulating capital and being business savvy.

    Almost 5 years later, the grit and determination he gained as an active rugby player, helped Azfar in cutting his teeth as a serial entrepreneur across diverse wide-ranging industries.

    As the Chief Executive Officer of Austral Group Sdn Bhd (AGSB) in which he leads and oversees not only the business operations but also the frontier technology and innovation albeit in a typical bootstrapping way of a Malaysian beginning with hardly anything much but paltry.

    From contributing to novel proprietary technology for Digital Malaysia 5G network infrastructure to oil and gas more equitable distribution of skilled talents to disrupting web 2.0 giants like Facebook and Google in the media industry for his proud heartland of Borneo, in particular, his progressive Sarawak state.

    His humble beginnings with Petrosar Academy with the mission to re-skill talents and increase Sarawakians’ employability has now beckoned a unicorn path of entrepreneurship and a regional innovation for the grassroots inclusivity.

    Out of sight is not out of mind.

    And he aspires to do and prove just that.

    Kamarul Bahrin Haron is a stalwart figure in the Malaysian broadcasting and communication industry. He was the founding creator and presenter of the first Malaysian live streaming online TV channel, Cyberjaya TV. He was also instrumental in the initial setups for Astro AWANI digital operations. With over 25 years of experience in the creative media industry, he still practices as a journalist/editor/TV anchor from Malaysia accepted as the Media Leader at the exclusive and prestigious yearly Davos meet. Kamarul and Astro AWANI have also been accredited by WEF to convene, moderate, and broadcast live discussions from WEF ASEAN, and successfully delivered this for WEF ASEAN Kuala Lumpur 2016, WEF ASEAN 2017 Phnom Penh and WEF ASEAN Hanoi 2018. He brings to the team his vast exposure and audiences that include major organisations like ACCA, SME Bank, Agrobank, MDeC, MIGHT, Serba Dinamik and Hibiscus Petroleum among others. His current role is Media Strategy Advisor with Austral Media. With him, AM© has successfully delivered several projects such as the Rainforum Series of webinars supported by Sarawak Economic Development Corporation and Dubai World Expo 2020 forums as well as organised discussions supported by the Malaysian Pavilion and the Malaysian Ministry of Environment and Water. It is with great advantage that AM© has acquired such a decorated and progressive figure to be a part of their move forward.

    Qayyum Roslan knows his craft like the back of his hand. He works outstandingly under pressure to deliver the best output creatively and professionally. Hailing from a graphic design background, Qayyum has been based in Kuala Lumpur for the past decade. He has a distinctive style and leaves a strong impression through his work. Time and time again he produces powerful visuals and communicates directly through them. Qayyum has successfully manoeuvred through clients such as United Nations Relief & Works Agency (UNRWA), Khazanah Nasional Berhad, Khazanah Research Institute, Urbanice Malaysia, Yayasan AMIR and Teach For Malaysia, KLIAF, MPOC, and many others. His creative styles are diverse spanning through the field of corporate, educational, non-profit organisations, SME’s and other commercial businesses that are P&C. He has grown into the role of Content Director / Art Director from his start as a Graphic Designer and continues to perform exceptionally well in the discipline. Qayyum maintains to create while also mediates a team through a variety of branding exercises, campaigns, illustration works and product designs shaping him into a prolific designer of high calibre in a highly competitive industry.
